Hi,
I'm still trying to get sound out of my IBM T43. All the modules seem to be loaded, all the devices seem to be there, applications (e.g., alsamixer and alsaplayer) don't report any errors, but still there is no sound to be heard. I read somewhere IBM keys to mute and change sound volume work independently, but pressing them don't help either, even in presense of tpb that does show that sound level is changing when I press the buttons.
I've tried 2.6.13 (built myself) and 2.6.14 (from Debian unstable) kernels to no avail. I've tried one other distro as well, -- still no sound. Yes, it works in Windoze, so that's not a hardware problem either.
Any ideas?
